8:00 – 9:00am Registration/Check-in
This is not your normal District Conference! Be there to help influence the future of Rotary and how we work. The Central Indiana Rotary BetterTogether Conference celebrates ideas and inspiration, and how we can use our great Rotary Brand to attract, inspire, engage and lead in our communities and around the world.
9 – 10:00am #RotaryReady
Hear inspiring stories and connect with youth from around the district whose lives have been forever changed by their Rotary experiences. Learn from young leaders like Tyler Smith and how clubs can be Rotary Ready. This general session will start with a welcome from DG Katie Smardo and the Rotary Youth Exchange Parade of Flags.
10 – 10:30am #House of Friendship
Affectionately called the “House of Friendship,” this session is part vendor exhibit hall, part networking social opportunity! About a dozen different organizations that have found synergy with Rotary Clubs from our district will be displaying information about their organizations. Refreshments will be served and participants are encouraged to meet and greet with the other conference attendees to learn from each other and share best practices. There will even be some fun packages to bid on during the Silent Auction to benefit The Rotary Foundation.
10:30 – 11:30am #Rotary911
It’s a Rotary emergency! Join Kate Kimmer and Judge Kim Dowling as we urgently gather to discuss hot topics such as Human Traffic Worldwide and in Indiana and talk about how as Clubs, we can bring life back to our meetings and our communities.
11:30 – 1:30pm “A” Lunch & “B” Lunch
Groups will be assigned to two lunch sessions for an intimate opportunity to build networks. While the other group lunches, you’ll have the opportunity to tour the museum with friends and family and truly feel like a kid again!
